Aldo Romani received his Dr.Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Bologna (Italy) in 2001. In the same year he joined the Advanced Research Center on Electronic Systems "E. De Castro" (ARCES) of the same University. In 2005 he received the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electronics, Computer Science and Systems (DEIS) of University of Bologna. He is a co-recipient of the 2004 Jan Van Vessem Award of the IEEE International Solid-State Circuits Conference and is author or coauthor of more then 35 scientific publications in international conferences or journals. Since 2008 he serves as Researcher and Assistant Professor at the Second School of Engineering in the Cesena Campus of the University of Bologna. He is currently in charge of the course "Elettronica dei Sistemi Digitali" (Electronics for Digital Systems) at the II School of Engineering of the University of Bologna in Cesena.
