Fabio Campi received the Msc degree in Microelectronics in 1999 and a PhD Degree in Electronics
and computing science in 2003 from the University of Bologna, Italy.
Between 1995 and 1996 he spent 18 months at the Tampere University of Technology,
Tampere, Finland, for studies on VLSI devices and Digital Signal Processing.
Since 1999 he has been a consultant for Central R&D, ST Microelectronics,
for the application of innovative CMOS design platforms on digital System-on-chip design.
He is currently working at the "Advanced Reasearch Center on Electronic Systems E.DeCastro, (ARCES)", Bologna.
His main research interest are VLSI System on chip design, embedded microprocessors and development of advanced
architectures and algorithms for digital signal processing.
