Biography

Emanuele Baravelli was born in Bologna, Italy. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electronic Engineering from the University of Bologna, Bologna, Italy, in 2002 and 2004 respectively. In 2008, he pursued the Ph.D. degree under the European Doctorate on Information Technology (EDITH) program at the University of Bologna. In 2005, he joined the Advanced Research Center on Electronic Systems (ARCES), University of Bologna. He is also collaborating with the Inter University Microelectronics Center (IMEC), Belgium. His research interests include semiconductor device simulation, with particular emphasis on adaptive meshing techniques and investigation of variability issues in MuGFETs.
