Analog Implementation of a Piecewise-Linear Fuzzy System

Abstract:

This work describes an analog circuit for functions approximation which exploits the piecewise-linear approach. It is based on fuzzy logic to provide isotropic and readable synthesis. It operates in current-mode and it is programmed through a set of digital words encoding the rules' consequents.
